HEY!!!

I finally got the photo of Loy Krathong festival 2009 held at demsey hill!
It's a annual Thai event, where all the rich thai will gather and chill.
Many of the thai brought along friends of other countries such as korea, japan ,china ,america..
of course singaporean!

This event was a great experience for me.. i mean ya. nv been surrounded by so many thai before.. they really look chinese to me.

Before going over.. met gh n eugene at Lot 1 to support JAM 潇
Afterthat took bus to town, changed bus waited for others..
Yea.. christina look gorgeous that night!!

We free buffet! Initally, we thought we need to pay 25 bucks each, someone still nv inform me lo.
But yea chris's mum treated us.. so no nid pay!
The thai was nice!! esp the fried or baked trotter!!
Mango steam rice.. tom yum soup!! green curry not bad!!

Afterthen, wwe went in to join the fun..
Though they were singing thai song, which we don;t really understand..
but yea.. we damn high can! esp mark!
haha
there was even a beer drinking competition!!
The male' round was cute, cuz there was this 7 years old boy who went up..
but cannot drink beer, so the host gave hima cup of berry juice... haha
but he nv win..

LAstly result time! chris got 6 out of 20 haha.. not bad sia.. when her dress was plain compared to the rest.
Afterthat followed eugene and gh to the cathey to find cecelia..
Waited for her to knocked off and went to wan jiao cafe for supper.
managed to catch up with her.. so much fun..

今天刚读完《美丽与哀愁-张曼玉》

这本书写了张曼玉的演艺生涯。
其实会借这本书是因为近期在报纸上看到了她的报道。
心想这位以达不惑之年的张曼玉为何还是大家的焦点，fashion icon.

读了那本书，深刻的记得她得过15个影后。金马，金象，坎城。。。

其中的一章：美丽
说着她如何保持完美的肌肤。
她说道：我不喜欢女人花太多时间做美容，
只有外表的靓丽是不够的，

她说“如果你的life是empty，什么都不学，不懂，我赞你“好靓”
你开心几分钟，然后呢？

她认为一个外貌普通，但有内涵，言谈有趣的女人显得美丽的多

我非常认同，男女都一样。
很多人常穿了一身的名牌来增加自己的安全感。
让自己看起来多自信那一点点。
但这些能维持多久呢？十年，二十年。
那些只是皮囊而已。内涵才会真正的永久不衰，越久越散发出你的魅力。

戴什么？穿什么？买这买那。。so what? you bloody low self esteem.
buy this bag.. wear this shoes.. buy contacts.. sigh..

Okay, finally met up with yc and zr..lots of gossiping and questioning (most of it was yc questioning zr)...haha..both of are doing fine.


The most memorable thing was that Jolene (my junior) saw me in the lib and came up to me. After that, we had such a nice chat and catch up with her because it has been 2 years that I have seen her after I graduate. I can't believe that all my beloved junior are going to graduate so soon...can't believe it but have to though...haha...


Then went holland v for dinner and chill out. The most surprising thing was that we saw my chinese teacher, MISS LEE...haha..the teacher that the band 1 student kind of hate her..haha..she looks younger now with her short hair. And now, she is working in an AIA company..

yea.. met up with zhi rong ever since collection of O lvl result.
all my fear did not come through.. haha...
i think it only applies to certain friend i met in JC..
it was like sec 1-4 period.. but filed with some regret..
but yea who cares.. it's ok now.. haha

AND YES MR CHNG ZHI RONG promised to have a dinner or lunch or whtever with us.
those friends that really missed him.. 4 years of friendship sia..

Getting started to revise my work and finally got a new library card..
so fast lar.. the card was ready in 15sec time..
borrowed a few chinese book to improve my compo..
it is really nice to just read in the library for the whole day, instead of doing tutorial.. haha

Went to 玉皇宫晚宴..
the food was ok ok.. haha but got to see my relative. esp. my cute niece LE EN!!!!
Watch some puppet opera show..
still dun understand...
